713. Let’s Read The Bible
요즘 성경을 읽고 있습니다. 3개월에 1독을 하려고 하루에 10장 정도 읽고 있습니다. 한번 읽는데 1시간이 넘게 걸립니다.
평소에 책 읽는 습관을 많이 들여놓지 않아서 그런지 솔직히 힘든 것이 사실입니다. 최근에 레위기를 읽고 민수기를 마쳐가는데
지루하고 이해도 잘 안되 어려움을 겪기도 합니다. 읽다가 졸기도 하고, 딴 생각을 할 때도 있습니다. 하루 10장 읽는 게
대단하게 보일 수도 있는데, 실상은 그렇지 못할 때가 많은 것 같습니다.
그럼에도 불구하고 성경을 계속 읽으려고 합니다. 왜냐하면, 나의 하나님을 더 알고 싶기 때문에 그렇습니다.
또한, 요즘 세상에 일어나는 많은 문제들을 보면서 그 해답은 성경에서 찾을 수 있다는 마음이 생겼기 때문이기도 합니다.
읽다 보면 은혜를 받기도 하고, 궁금증이 생기기도 하며, 또는 아무런 느낌이 없을 때도 있습니다. 하지만 그런 과정들을 겪으면서
주님을 더욱 마음 속 깊이 알아가다 보면 저도 모르는 사이에 하나님께서 원하시는 모습으로 점차 변화되며, 또한 서서히
하나님께서 주시는 해답들을 얻을 것이라는 믿음과 기대를 가지고 읽고 있습니다.
혹시 성경읽기를 멈추셨나요? 그러시다면 우리 예수님 바라보면서 다시 힘내어 영원하신 주님의 말씀 속으로
빠져 보시는 건 어떨까요? 주님이 도우셔서 말씀 읽는 기쁨 다시 부어 주실 겁니다! 우리 같이 파이팅하시죠!

I have been reading my bible. I try to read the whole bible in 3 months, so I read about 10 chapters a day.
It takes me more than an hour to finish reading it. I don’t read a lot so reading an hour is really difficult for me.
Recently, I read the book of Leviticus and almost finished the book of Numbers. They are REALLY hard to understand.
So, sometimes I fell asleep or lost my focus. Some of you might think I am holy because I read 10 chapters a day.
But in reality, many times I fail.
Then you might ask me, “Why do you still read your bible?” My answer is because I want to KNOW my GOD deeper
in my heart. Also, there are many problems in the world around me that I can’t solve, and I believe God can give me
answers through His Word. Sometimes I get blessed. Sometimes I have questions. Sometimes I feel nothing. But,
through the process, I believe I will get to know God deeper growing in His grace, and He will give me answers as time passes by.
Reading the Bible is hard, isn’t it? Yes, it’s not easy. but our Lord Jesus will give us strength and joy in reading His Word
through ups and downs. So why don’t we grab a bible today and read what God wants to say to us today?
